For the first five years of broadcasting, SCOTTCast kept things simple. By opening a window and shouting down the street, reach was immediate and episodes were published every hour or so.
Things were going wonderfully until the city of Hamtramck barred SCOTTCast from broadcasting ‘the old fashioned way’.
With nothing to live for besides SCOTTCast, Scott wept. Forty days and nights passed and the weeping continued.
Fan Favorite Ian, sensing dangerous levels of hopelessness in Scott, wanted to provide some sort of distracting outlet and introduced him to the internet. He thought it would take Scott’s mind off of his dangerous, addictive preoccupation with public speaking.
“Uncommon in this world is the podcast destined for greatness. Yet more uncommon still, is the podcast destined for my heart. SCOTTCast is this uncommon podcast.” – Abraham Lincoln
The People of SCOTTCast
Scott – cunning, curious and at times garrulous, he is on every episode. A common misconception is SCOTTCast was named after him. Historical records indicate he was named after SCOTTCast.
Fan Favorite Ian – a master of esotericism and an idealist, Fan Favorite Ian receives constant accolades and awards for his performances on SCOTTCast when not solving the darkest mysteries of the human psyche as an experimental therapist at Arkham.
David – appearing on more deleted episodes of SCOTTCast than any other member, David podcasts with sheer power and brawn, wearing the audience down to the bleeding quick with anecdotes, tangential asides, and life-changing advice.
